Plein Air 08: Tonight I Will Be Staying Here With You

A lesser-known Dylan tune comprises this week's Plein Air.

Over the past two months, noise-pollution has been an evident challenge in recording outdoors. Even in the far reaches of Yosemite, planes hum above and cars on state roads rev their engines. And in the more populated areas the noise floor is unavoidable: AC units, highways, airports, and a plethora of other industrial sounds.

Looking to the future, I'm turning an ear toward the unnatural sounds that pervade even our more wild spaces, serving the dual purpose of Plein Air music and the documentation of noise pollution.
